Ray Allen is a former American professional basketball player who played for 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He started his career as a collegiate for the Connecticut Huskies where he played for 3 seasons. From there, he built his reputation and became known for his impressive playing style being an efficient and deadly long-range shooter.In 2007, Allen was traded to Bolton Celtics. During his time with the Celtics, he and his teammates Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce formed a group called “Big Three” which brought the team an immediate success after they won the NBA championship in 2008. Allen played with the Celtics for 5 seasons before exiting to join the Miami Heat for 2 seasons.Allen’s clutch three-pointer to tie Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals with only 5.2 seconds gap has been regarded as one of the most memorable and heart-pounding plays in NBA history.He has an impressive compilation of awards and achievements.
