A Prayer for Ahmaad galloway and for Those Who Love Him
O Divine Force of the Living and the Dead, approve of Ahmaad galloway, whom we trust has entered this day into your realm. Award harmony, light, and everlasting youth to him who has been taken from us while still a kid. May he always be aware of the tinge of your affection and the gleam of your light in your vast domain. Look delicately upon his family, whose hearts are overburdened with distress. Stroll with them; console them; encompass them with heavenly messengers to lift them from the profundity of their grievous misfortune. At long last, look generously upon our Focal Catholic People group. We stand as a family in our moments of triumph and bliss; give us the mental strength to remain as a family now, despite our lack of Ahmaad galloway. May we console each other with expressions of confidence, trust, and love. Persuade our hearts that everything works for the good of those who trust in God. So be it.
Who is Ahmaad galloway?
During his time at the University of Alabama, Ahmaad was a standout on the football team. The Denver Broncos selected Ahmaad Galloway in the seventh round of the 2003 National Football League Draft. Galloway's last year playing football for the University of Alabama, however, he got hurt and was unable to play in the 2003 season. After the completion of the 2004 season, the San Diego Chargers released Ahmaad Galloway from his contract. In 2010, he began working at Oak Mountain High School as an assistant coach for the varsity football team. The decision to hire him was made by Head Coach Jeff Harris.
Caleb Ross, who was the head coach at Thompson High School at the time, hired him as an assistant in 2011. In 2013, he was given the position of head coach at Munford High School. In 2002, when Ahmaad was about to start his senior year, he couldn't contain his excitement. But he ended up missing the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in the first game of the year, which was played against Southern Mississippi. As a direct consequence of this, he was unable to participate in the Crimson Tide's final three games of their 10-3 season under the direction of Dennis Franchione, who was the head coach at the time.
He had 58 opportunities to run the ball and finished with 257 yards and four touchdowns. During his time as a college student, Ahmaad Galloway had 376 carries, which led to him gaining 1,830 yards and scoring 17 touchdowns. Three of the many things about Ahmaad that made an impression on me and the many other people all over the world who knew him were his tenacity of character, single-mindedness, and an optimistic worldview. These were just three of the many things about him. Throughout his life, he struggled, just like a great number of people do everywhere in the world.
His ability to persevere and keep his sights set on what he desired most, not only for himself but also for the people he cared about and the people whose paths he crossed, was what set him apart from others. He never lost sight of what he wanted most. One of the many qualities that a lot of people admired in Ahmaad, and that they continue to admire about him even today, is his capacity to be a ray of sunshine for other people. It wasn't a performance or something he'd practiced; it was simply an authentic part of who he was.
