16 & Pregnant star, Ebony Jackson’s baby daddy, Josh Rendon, has just been given a sentence after he was arrested in early 2021.
In March of 2021, Josh Rendon was arrested and charged with “attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, vehicular eluding, aggravated motor vehicle theft, criminal mischief, driving under suspension, criminal possession of an ID document, and theft of motor vehicle parts,” according to The Sun.
Police officers recognized a stolen vehicle north of Denver, Colorado, to which they followed the car to an apartment complex.
“According to the local KDVR news report at the time of the incident, police turned on their emergency lights and made contact with the front and rear bumpers of the stolen vehicle to try and prevent the car’s escape,” the outlet revealed.
However, Josh, who was in the driver’s seat, reversed the vehicle and drove into the patrol cars nearly running over an officer.
The Sun goes on to say, “Josh allegedly had a second confrontation with officers, as he drove directly at two sheriff’s cars, narrowly missing them head-on.”
“A deputy car cut off Josh and the car rolled over and crashed. Josh was ejected from the driver’s seat and fled from the scene into a field on foot.”
Shortly after, he was found and arrested.
The Sun exclusively reports that Josh had his official sentence on January 3. He was sentenced to four years in prison, and is currently behind bars at Larimer Jail in Colorado.

In 2011, their daughter was taken from them by Child Protective Services. Allegedly their home was not tolerable for a baby.
